RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Microsoft Active Directory Engineer in Dallas, TX.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Microsoft Engineer to support and maintain enterprise infrastructure environments. This role is responsible for troubleshooting incidents, managing assigned tickets, supporting critical systems, and ensuring high levels of service availability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide infrastructure and application support in a production environment
* Troubleshoot server, virtualization, and end-user issues
* Manage incidents, service requests, and change activities through resolution
* Support Microsoft technologies, virtualization platforms, and enterprise systems
* Participate in on-call rotations as needed
* Create and maintain technical documentation
* Collaborate with engineering, networking, and operations teams
* Support platform enhancements, upgrades, and system maintenance
* Contribute to process improvements and operational best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Microsoft certification(s) preferred
* 3+ years of Microsoft infrastructure engineering experience
* Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving experience in production environments
* Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure and operations
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Strong documentation and organizational skills
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
* Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Core Technical Requirements:

* Experience supporting both Windows and Linux environments
Preferred Technical Experience:

* Enterprise backup and disaster recovery platforms

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
