Job Description
We're seeking a visionary VP to lead Commerce Data & Technology Solutions for a key global agency client. This role will partner with Connected Commerce and Retail Media teams to define and execute strategies that unify identity, data, and key technology to power and enhance agency workflows and deliver integrated solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
โ€ข Own the vision and roadmap for implementation and orchestration of Commerce data and technology solutions aligned with client and agency objectives.
โ€ข Champion innovation in Connected Commerce planning, activation, content and measurement workflows
โ€ข Oversee application and implementation of integrated platforms centralize data and enable automation across Commerce teams.
โ€ข Ensure interoperability across identity, data, and activation layers for omnichannel commerce.
โ€ข Act as a senior advisor to clients and internal teams on commerce technology strategy.
โ€ข Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, outcome-driven narratives for executive audiences.
โ€ข Establish standards for data quality, security, and compliance across all solutions.
โ€ข Manage vendor relationships and evaluate emerging technologies for strategic fit.
โ€ข Develop key solutions plans that meet and exceed client's business needs, in partnership with agency Client Leadership, Strategy, Activation and Analytics teams.
โ€ข Manage and develop talent within the team as well as foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the organization.
โ€ข Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to workflows, improving efficiency and scalability.
SKILL SETS REQUIRED:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in technology, business, analytics, or related field.
โ€ข Minimum of 10 years experience in Commerce, Retail Media, Data Strategy, and/or Shopper Marketing bringing data and technology together to deliver on business objectives
โ€ข Proven track record of delivering large-scale, data-driven solutions in retail, media, or commerce environments.
โ€ข Strong executive communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts.
โ€ข Experience managing cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.
โ€ข Ability to work across multiple time zones globally, with some travel required (less than 10%)
Preferred Skills:
โ€ข Familiarity with retail media networks, commerce marketing platforms, and data clean rooms.
โ€ข Understanding of privacy regulations and data governance frameworks.

Compensation Range: USD $168,150.00 - USD $241,605.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
