Job description

The Finance Manager, Franchise FP&A is a key finance leader responsible for consolidation, enterprise reporting, and planning support across Inspire Brands' multi-brand restaurant platform. This role partners across brand finance, accounting, treasury, and corporate functions to deliver timely, accurate, and insightful reporting for monthly results, forecasts, annual operating plans, and executive materials. The position requires strong experience in financial consolidation, management reporting, systems-driven analysis, and cross-functional collaboration within a large, multi-unit, portfolio-based business environment.

This position sits within our Atlanta-based Global Support Center with an expectation to be onsite 5 days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Lead monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning processes for the franchise business through partnership with brand-specific finance teams.
  • Develop executive-level reporting packages, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership and quarterly business reviews.
  • Support enterprise-wide reporting and financial planning requirements in partnership with Corporate FP&A and Treasury.
  • Analyze actual results against budget, forecast, and prior year, clearly identifying key business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide financial guidance and analytical support for strategic initiatives, growth opportunities, and operational improvement efforts.

Improve Reporting Processes and Data Quality:

  • Build deep knowledge of Inspire Brands' financial systems, metadata, and hierarchies to serve as a go-to resource for franchise business consolidation and reporting needs.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of Franchise reporting outputs and maintain strong controls over reporting processes and data integrity.
  • Develop and maintain reporting frameworks to drive accountability and improve decision quality.

Partner Across Functions and Develop Talent:

  • Collaborate closely with Brand Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and Corporate FP&A teams to ensure coordinated planning and reporting across the organization.
  • Provide guidance to senior analyst(s) and/or analyst(s), help prioritize team deliverables, and support the continuous development of best practices within Inspire FP&A.
  • Deliver strong internal customer service and respond effectively to recurring and ad hoc requests from finance and business stakeholders.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4-Year degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • MBA, CPA, or other advanced finance or accounting credential preferred.
  • 5-8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial reporting, consolidation, or related roles.
  • Experience in a multi-unit, multi-brand, franchise, retail, hospitality, or restaurants preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing consolidated forecasts, management reporting packages, variance analysis, and executive-level presentations.
  • Experience partnering with accounting on monthly close, receivables, and bad debt reporting preferred.
  • Previous people leadership or informal team leadership experience preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, management reporting, and performance analysis.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with strong proficiency in building clear, accurate, and executive-ready reporting materials.
  • Strong systems aptitude with working knowledge of Oracle Cloud, Oracle ePBCS, Hyperion, Workforce Management, or similar reporting and planning tools.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of financial and operational information into concise narratives.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong cross-functional partnership and communication skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.

DIRECT REPORTS

  • May supervise or provide day-to-day direction to one or more senior analysts or analysts.
  • Expected to operate with both leadership and hands-on execution responsibilities.
