Position Summary

The Franchise Finance Coordinator serves as the primary financial liaison for franchisees throughout the development process, helping guide candidates from approval through restaurant opening. This role partners closely with franchisees, lenders, internal development teams, legal, construction, and operations to ensure timely completion of financing milestones and support successful restaurant openings.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, financially savvy, and skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously while building strong relationships with franchisees and business partners.

Key Responsibilities Franchisee Financial Support
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for franchisees regarding financing and funding activities throughout the development process.
  • Guide franchisees through financing requirements, timelines, documentation, and lender interactions.
  • Assist franchisees in understanding development costs, capital requirements, and funding expectations.
  • Monitor financing progress and proactively address obstacles that could impact development timelines.
  • Maintain regular communication with franchisees regarding project status, milestones, and next steps.
Development Process Coordination
  • Track and manage franchise development projects from approval through opening.
  • Coordinate financial milestones with construction, real estate, legal, and operations teams.
  • Ensure franchisees complete required documentation and meet established deadlines.
  • Facilitate communication between franchisees and internal stakeholders to drive project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within development tracking systems.
Lender and Financial Partner Coordination
  • Develop and maintain relationships with approved lenders and financing partners.
  • Coordinate information requests between franchisees and lending institutions.
  • Monitor loan application progress and financing approvals.
  • Assist with gathering, organizing, and submitting required financial documentation.
  • Support franchisees through lending and approval processes.
Reporting and Analysis
  • Track franchise financing pipelines and development milestones.
  • Prepare regular status reports for Development leadership.
  • Identify project risks, delays, or challenges and provide recommended solutions.
  • Maintain financial and development databases with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Support forecasting and planning activities related to franchise growth objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Franchise Development, Real Estate, Construction, Operations, and Legal teams to support successful openings.
  • Participate in project meetings and development reviews.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts for franchise financing and development processes.
  • Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial services, lending, franchise development, project coordination, banking, or related fields.
  • Experience supporting multi-step projects with numerous stakeholders preferred.
  • Franchise, hospitality, restaurant, or retail development experience is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong understanding of basic finance, lending, and business financial concepts.
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
