Nurse Practitioner – Sleep Medicine

Location: Chevy Chase, MD
Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $100,000.00 – $130,000.00 Annually

About the Role

As a full-time Nurse Practitioner specializing in sleep medicine, you’ll play a vital role in evaluating, diagnosing, and managing sleep disorders. Working closely with physicians, sleep technologists, and a supportive care team, you’ll help patients achieve better sleep and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical exams.
  • Interpret sleep studies, including polysomnography and home sleep apnea tests.
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
  • Manage medications, educate patients on sleep hygiene, and oversee ongoing care.
  • Coordinate follow-up visits, adjust treatments, and ensure thorough documentation.
  • Advocate for patients by providing empathetic, high-quality care throughout their treatment journey.
Qualifications
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license in MD, VA, and DC.
  • Experience in sleep medicine is preferred but not required.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
