About This Role:

We're looking for an Events Revenue Development Representative who can use their curiosity and perseverance to help fuel our sponsorship sales ambitions. As part of the Sponsorship Sales team, you'll collaborate with Event and Research sales to discover opportunities within assigned territories and pursue both inbound and outbound leads. You'll work within a tightly defined sales process to ensure a consistent, unified approach to selling our Events portfolio and driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Job Description:

  • Achieve weekly meeting setting metrics.
  • Follow up on leads generated by the marketing team in SFDC (including MQL/SQL/IQL's)
  • Support Sponsorship Sales Reps in selling new relationships to C-level leaders and their teams, including CMOs, VP of Marketing & Demand Gen, Field Marketing, Event Marketing, AR and Sales leaders.
  • Understand the objectives and services of a targeted set of accounts and their specific management titles and organizational structures.
  • Perform name and organizational development at named accounts to identify buying groups.
  • Engage with prospects via phone, email, and social media to outline Forrester's unique value proposition in line with our defined cadences.
  • Spark interest from qualified potential buyers to secure an introductory meeting with a Forrester events sales rep.
  • Maintain and build relationships with prospects to understand their business issues and demonstrate how Forrester can bring value and solve their problems.
  • Understand the changing business and technology issues that our clients and prospects face.

Job Requirements:

  • A BS or BA degree or an equivalent experience.
  • Experience with direct sales in client management or consultative selling.
  • Effective organization and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

    Please note that the base salary range indicated here is inclusive of all applicable US geographies listed in this requisition. This salary range is based upon the position as described in the job listing. The offered compensation may vary within this range and is dependent upon the successful candidate's primary work location, experience, training, education, and credentials.

    Base salary range: $45,000 - $67,000

    The percentage listed here is an estimated bonus target as a percentage of base salary,in accordance with the ADR/RDR Quarterly Bonus plan. Individual and company performance, as well as other eligibility criteria, will determine the actual incentive amount.

    Quarterly variable target: 20.01%
