Job description

Hot Forge Operator - 2nd Shift

Location:Arlington, TX
Shift: 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:15 PM
Pay: $18.00 per hour

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Hot Forge Operator to join our Forging Department on 2nd shift. In this role, you will operate closed-die power press equipment to produce quality metal forgings while maintaining production, safety, and quality standards. This position offers an opportunity to build a career in manufacturing with hands-on training in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate closed-die power press equipment.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on forging equipment.
  • Inspect tooling for proper clearance and verify production specifications.
  • Heat tooling to required operating temperature before production.
  • Submit first article parts for Quality Control approval.
  • Monitor production quantities and coordinate with the supervisor for job completion.
  • Stage finished material with proper traveler documentation and traceability tags.
  • Change tooling as required and return tooling for inspection or repair.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including end-of-shift housekeeping.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
  • Manufacturing or machine operation experience is preferred but not required.
  • Less than one month of related experience or equivalent training is acceptable.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Metal forging or fabrication experience.
  • Experience operating industrial presses or production equipment.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
