Department: Dietary Schedule: Full Time, 6am-2:30pm and/or 11am-7:30pm, Rotating Weekends Hospital: Witham Health Services Location: Lebanon, IN

Job Summary: The cook provides daily meal service ensuring all meals required for the Department of Food & Nutrition meal services are ready at scheduled meal times following all department policies. This includes preparing/serving meals for patients, personnel, Meals on Wheels, Head Start, special functions and visitors. These duties are carried out in a competent and professional manner. All patient information is kept confidential. Accepts direction from the Lead Cook and Team Leaders as it applies to what they do.

Minimum Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Previous health care, restaurant, or hotel experience preferred. Must have ability to operate all types of Food Service equipment and work quickly in an organized manner. Must be able to read and standardize recipes. Must have basic knowledge of Food Safety Codes. Serv. Safe Certified preferred.
