Title: Food Service Administrative Assistant
Location: The Colony, TX
Job Summary:
The Call Desk Sales Representative plays a key role in supporting and growing our customer Food Service base. This position is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with existing customers while actively identifying opportunities to increase revenue through exceptional service and strategic engagement.
You will also be responsible for generating new business by proactively reaching out to prospective customers. This includes cold calling, follow-up outreach, and in-person visits to present our Food Service offerings and Special Events Programs. Success in this role comes from building trust, understanding customer needs, and consistently delivering solutions that strengthen long-term partnerships.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Make food service sales calls daily.
  • Make follow-up phone calls to customers after the order is completed to build strong customer relationships. Ensure they have received their order and provide quality customer service and inquire if there is anything else we can do for them at this time.
  • Ability to explain at the customer level.
  • Promote new items to all food service customers.
  • Promote and sell the Special Events Program through cold calling and explore other effective marketing methods.
  • Front Admin Backup.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This position operates in a professional office setting and involves regular use of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
While performing the duties of this role, the employee will:
  • Regularly sit for extended periods
  • Frequently stand, walk, talk, and hear
  • Frequently use hands to handle, touch, or feel objects and reach with hands and arms
  • Specific vision abilities include the ability to view computer monitors for prolonged periods
  • Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to grip a minimum of 45 lbs. with each hand

โ€ข Contingent upon the successful completion of a company-initiated and approved background check and motor vehicle report (MVR), drug screen, physical, and human performance evaluation (HPE)
