Job description

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • High School diploma or Equivalent

Experience & Skills:

  • 1-2 years commercial cleaning experience within warehouse/food production environment
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Flexibility and willingness to work overtime as required, which may include some evenings and weekends.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Perform daily cleaning duties in the production/warehouse areas and outside common areas at both EarthFresh facilities.
  2. Clean food packing equipment using approved chemicals.
  3. Empty interior and exterior garbage and recycling bins as needed.
  4. Sweep production/warehouse area floors (including potatoes, packaging material, wood, etc.)
  5. Dispose of all garbage/cardboard that has been placed in front of compactor area.
  6. Inspect outside of facilities twice daily, and sweep/pick-up garbage and debris.
  7. Correct any deviations, as identified by the Food Safety/Quality Technician during pre-operational inspection.
  8. Other duties as required by the Food Safety/QA Manager.
