Sodexo is seeking an experienced leader for a Food Operations Manager 1 at Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson, West Virginia. Jefferson Medical Center is a 25 bed critical access hospital and is a member of WVUMedicine. As the only hospital in the county JMC provides a wide range of clinical services in an intimate Academic Medical Center environment..
The Food Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the daily operations including retail and patient services. This position will be the main point of contact at the unit and has responsbilites of leading a successful frontline team, ensuring compliance and improving the patient experience. We are looking for a charismatic and organized individual to support a team of16 frontline associates.

Typical Schedule: Monday-Friday
(weekends and holidays based on business needs)
8am-5pm
What You'll Do
  • be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;
  • ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
  • have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
  • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or
  • have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.
