Position SummaryAs a Mixer you will be responsible for preparing and mixing batters, doughs, and fillings according to company recipes and production schedules. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and a commitment to food safety and sanitation. The ideal candidate is experienced in food manufacturing, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. ---Responsibilities• Complete and deliver all batch forms and document each process.• Keep and supervise work area, tools, and supplies organized and sanitary throughout the shift.• Work with quality systems such as HACCP and GMPs.• Maintain knowledge of ingredient control and FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.• Operate and sanitize all bakery equipment in a safe and proper manner.• Follow sanitation protocol to clean as you go and clean equipment after use.• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.Qualifications• High school diploma or equivalent is required.• Possess basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication).• Proven experience in food manufacturing or commercial baking preferred.• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.• Ability to work well in a busy environment.• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.• Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.• Good attendance and punctuality are crucial.• Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
