Position Summary

Joseph's Bakery is seeking dependable and motivated Mixers to join our Production team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and mixing ingredients according to company formulas and production schedules while ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and efficiency.

This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment ideal for individuals who are reliable, team-oriented, and eager to grow within the company

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor industrial mixing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Accurately measure and add ingredients according to recipes and production specifications
  • Transfer mixed product to production lines while maintaining quality standards
  • Complete production paperwork and batch records accurately
  • Follow all food safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Monitor products to ensure consistency and report any quality concerns immediately
  • Communicate effectively with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams
  • Assist with equipment changeovers and general production support as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Support team members and assist with training when needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, food production, or machine operating experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions and production documents
  • Basic math skills required
