Responsibilities
Job Summary: A Food Service Representative is responsible for providing superior customer service and for preparing, packaging, and merchandising fresh product on a daily basis while maintaining all department and food safety / sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
  • Provides superior customer service
  • Prepares, packages, and merchandises fresh product
  • Takes orders from customers by telephone or in person
  • Answers customer questions regarding products and assists them with selections
  • Slices, packages, labels, and rotates products
  • Uses suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and build department sales
  • Scan in items on telxon for production
  • Assists in technical areas as needed
  • Merchandises product effectively
  • Cleans and sanitizes display cases
  • Properly handles and maintains the operation of all equipment
  • Makes regular announcements to inform customers of products
  • Complies with Company Food Safety and Sanitation standards
  • Uses the effectively track production and shrink through department processes
