**This position will be physically located in Marshall Islands in support of LOGCAP**

Under supervision to the Food Services Manager. The Food Inventory Specialist ensures to order and track food inventory for the DFAC. This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

  • Support supervisor in maintaining adequate inventory of food and supplies
  • Assist with transporting food or food containers, engages in food preparation or service, comes in contact with food, utensils, and equipment (other than food in unbroken protective packages).

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
    • High school diploma or equivalent. Must provide a copy of the diploma
    • Three (3) years experience in desired field
    • Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Skills:
    • Self-motivated and have the ability to motivate others in physically challenging and a typical work environment·
    • Must read, write, and speak English fluently
    • Support supervisor in maintaining adequate inventory of food and supplies
  • Working Conditions:
    • Must be capable of working in various weather conditions (i.e., humidity, rainy season, warm, sunny/sun exposure).
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
    • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
    • Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
