Compensation amp; Benefits:
$22.28 per hour starting pay, paid weekly
Schedules:
5 days a week - 8-hour shifts (with limited overtime options)
Shift: 2:30pm to 11:00pm

Leadership Duties and Responsibilities:
• Share knowledge and skills with team members and assist them in their functions of their daily tasks
• Assume responsibility for the production room assigned to lead.
• Team leaders will follow and implement all directives, policies, and procedures issued by the company.
• Collect and submit reports specific to team data as requested.
• Communicate all new or revised policies, procedures and / or processes to team members to ensure they have the most up-to-date and current information.
• Team leader will facilitate team operations through the sharing of information, identification of any issues, participate in development of problem-solving recommendations.
• Assign, and follow-up on work activities in the room.
• Team leaders will observe team members and make any necessary recommendations to the production supervisor.
• Inspect, and sign off on all forms in the batch request folder.
• Always keep work area clean and safe.
• Complete daily tasks on time and minimize overtime.
• Reports problems and information in a timely manner up the chain of command starting first with their direct leader, the Production Supervisor.
Production Duties and Responsibilities:
• Accurately weighs ingredients and finished goods in the production process.
• Loads ingredients into blenders and equipment while following company, safety, and food safety policies and procedures.
• Accurately counts and assembles number of finished good packages on a pallet.
• Package finished goods and verify the integrity of the seal on various packaging types.
• Operate and monitor a variety of mixers/blenders/auxiliary equipment to produce a quality product and ensure a safe and efficient operation.
• Must consistently achieve production output standards.
• Ensure accurate labeling of products with regulatory information.
• Visually examine batches to ensure conformance to established standards.
• Communicate production/quality problems immediately to Supervisors/Quality Assurance for disposition.
• Follow and comply with all safety, work rules, and regulations.
• Assembles, labels, and seals components of finished good packing such as boxes, kraft bags, bags, super sacks, specialty packing, etc.
• Ensures equipment is in good working order and notifies maintenance when repair is necessary. Does not work on equipment unless trained to do so.
• Maintain department housekeeping standards. Maintains a clean work environment.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and tooling when necessary for production.
• Must safely use fork trucks, pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment.
• Follows company product safety, legality, and quality systems.
• Stage batches by accurately selecting, weighing, counting, and verifying ingredients according to recipe specifications located on the work orders.
• Any other duties as assigned.
