About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Folder Gluer Operator to join our high-performing team in Peachtree City, GA. This is a critical, hands-on role responsible for operating and maintaining folder/gluer machinery to produce high-quality folding cartons, primarily within the food packaging industry. The ideal candidate will be experienced, detail-oriented, and capable of running complex jobs independently.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation & Production
  • Operate, set up, adjust, and troubleshoot folder/gluer machines, including straight-line, auto-bottom, 4- and 6-corner cartons.
  • Prepare and calibrate equipment to meet precise feeding, folding, and gluing specifications.
  • Monitor quality and output to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Clear jams and maintain consistent production speeds without compromising quality.
  • Supervise and guide general technicians on the production line.
Quality Assurance
  • Perform quality checks to ensure output meets specifications.
  • Document test results and complete all required checklists.
  • Ensure all finished products exceed customer expectations in quality and accuracy.
  • Support ISO and internal quality objectives and standards.
Safety & Cleanliness (OHSE)
  • Follow all OHSE policies, PPE requirements, and hazardous materials handling procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Use company-provided lifting equipment and follow ergonomic best practices.
Team Communication & Leadership
  • Communicate clearly with team members and leadership regarding job status and expectations.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide training or feedback to technicians as needed.

Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years of experience operating folder/gluer machinery in the food packaging industry
  • Proven experience with machine setup, troubleshooting, and adjustments
  • Ability to run straight-line, auto-bottom, 4- and 6-corner cartons
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Basic math and computer literacy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
  • Experience with Bobst Alpina, Expert Fold, or Domino folder/gluer machines
  • Familiarity with Leary or Nordson glue systems
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities or prior mentoring experience
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and lifting (30+ lbs)
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, color, depth perception, and ability to focus
  • Must be able to work 8+ hours/day and occasional overtime based on production demands
  • Must be able to rotate shifts as needed
