Description

Residential Elevators is looking for a CNC Brake Press Operator with experience in a steel shop environment to work full-time at least 40 hours a week at our Cairo, Georgia plant/warehouse. The Brake Press Operator will be responsible for using an electronically powered industrial machine to create, shape and customize metal materials.


Essential Duties Include:


Perform typical press operations to produce materials according to specifications and on schedule

Inspect the materials produced for quality and conformity; correct any inconsistencies

Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor

Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations


Skills & Abilities:

Motor skills to operate multiple settings and levers that much be adjusted for each job and quickly manipulated through the steps of creating finished product

Good analytical and mathematical skills to interpret drawings, templates, and blueprints

Read gauges, tape measure, blueprints, and other measurement tools

Minimum Requirements:

At least 2 years of Machinist experience, CNC Brake Press Experience required

Must be able to comply with safety policies; safety-conscious

Must have reliable transportation

Must lift up to 50 lbs.
