The Opportunity:

High Flying Foods is looking for a Sandwich Artist at Artisan Market Restaurant located at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. You will join a dynamic and positive team environment, maintaining the highest standards of service and operational excellence. If you are passionate about hospitality, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and a foodie at heart, we’d love to hear from you.

This position requires availability from 2:00-11:00pm every day.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests and provide excellent customer service
  • Accurately enter orders and properly process payments
  • Follow all portion standards to prepare, cook and present customer orders
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly (FIFO)
  • Maintain stock and storage of all perishables daily to ensure product quality
  • Complete prepped food lists and other checklists as required
  • Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned
  • Count in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each work shift
  • Work collaboratively with team to ensure seamless customer service and workplace efficiency
  • Follow all safety protocols intended to keep team members and customers safe
  • Respond to customer inquiries and refer to management when applicable
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in a customer service, cash handling or food/beverage-related position
  • Open availability including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to properly handle cash
  • Demonstrate proper knife handling skills and other equipment safety or be willing to learn
  • Ability to perform basic sanitation practices
  • Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, management and customers
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist and kneel for duration of shift
  • Must be able to pass a Criminal Records History Check and Security Threat Assessment (STA) to obtain an airport-issued badge and show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
