Job description

Material Handler/Driver

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

This position will be responsible for loading and unloading outsourced materials, as well as driving company trucks delivering Flowco products to multiple sites. Works integrally with other employees, suppliers, customers and independently.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading outsourced materials.
  • Drive company trucks delivering Flowco products to multiple sites.
  • Properly securing products according to FMCSA and Flowco regulations.
  • Properly completing all required paperwork in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inspect trucks and forklifts daily for proper maintenance and operability prior to beginning work with them (go through pre-shift operator check list).
  • Follow Housekeeping Policy.
  • Monitor work environment for safety hazards and ensure that all employees follow safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Work Requirements:

  • Work well with all fellow employees and customers.
  • Ability to drive long hours.
  • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (Traffic, Weather Conditions, Dispatch Changes, Etc.)
  • Must be able to follow instructions given by supervisor.
  • Must be willing to drive all company vehicles once trained properly to do so.
  • Must be able to work in hot or cold environments.

This is a "safety sensitive" position.

  • Must be able to lift 50 LBS.
  • Must be able to follow all EHS policies and procedures.
  • Must be punctual and possess strong work ethic.
  • Will be required to work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Will be required to complete and turn in all load documents on time and legible.
  • Will be required to keep trucks, trailers and equipment clean and in good working conditions.
  • Will be required to inspect and care for tools, supplies, and work areas.
  • Must have a valid CDL-A license.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Two or more years' experience driving a forklift required.
