Our customers shop with us for our highly regarded bakery; our grocery selections; our fresh, locally grown produce; our range of delicious prepared foods from our kitchen; our beautiful flowers and plants (many grown on premises); and our courteous and helpful staff. We employ customer-driven individuals that are dedicated to enhancing our warm and inviting farm-fresh shopping experience.


Who are we looking for?

Wilson Farm is hiring a full-time Floral Sales Associate to join our floral customer service team in a bright and cheerful environment! This position has a range of $18.00 - $21.00 per hour and is not a designing position.


Primary Responsibilities for a Floral Sales Associate

Assist customers with questions, selecting floral bouquets or arrangements or various products for custom designs

Refresh flower buckets with water solution and additional bouquets

Ongoing general clean-up of retail displays and/or cut flower work area to maintain neat appearance at all times

Maintain displays throughout shift inside/outside

Learn our closing protocols for the floral retail sales floor, e.g. bringing floral bouquets up/down stairs to/from cooler

Customer service, problem-solving/resolution, and escalation as needed


Experience/Qualifications needed

Previous retail, customer service experience (such as floral experience at Whole Foods, Wegman's, Russo's, or other retail floral shop etc. a huge plus)

Ability to deliver information in a clear and concise manner to customers

Candidate must be detail-oriented, have pride in finished work, an excellent work ethic, an enthusiastic, positive attitude, reliable, excellent communication skills


Work Schedule

Full-time (40+ hours/week), in-person work at Lexington location, working the 10 am - close shift

Will be a mix of weekdays, weekend, and holiday days

Holiday periods may require more hours and flexibility in schedule to meet business needs


Physical Requirements

Standing/bending/reaching for periods of time

Up/down stairs frequently

Be able to lift/carry approximately 25+ lbs. (flower buckets containing water and/or flowers)

Will be In/out of storage cooler for periods of time to access product
