What you'll do: You will work with the freshest flowers, learn their names & varieties, learn how to recognize quality and help us prepare them for delivery to our customers. In this fast-paced department, you will be responsible for safely, accurately, and efficiently pulling orders using pick tickets (may use scanner) in our warehouse.

  • Responsible for physical handling of all inventory in the warehouse. You'll be receiving items (flowers & plants), restocking items (flowers and plants!) and rotating product (FLOWERS & PLANTS!!!). Receive and process products timely and efficiently, checking accurate quantities, assessing quality, and looking for any defects per product specifications.
  • Sort and place materials on racks according to organizational standards
  • Ability to constantly lift 35-50lbs
  • Follow all company written procedures (standard work) to ensure high daily productivity and accuracy.
  • This is a physical job where you will be on your feet for most of the shift and be able to perform constant heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more.
  • This role involves constant heavy lifting and variable temperatures performing the the following:
    45 degrees unloading/scanning /sorting inbound product
    50 degrees Packing /loading product into trucks to ship
    85- degrees(summer) in the greenhouse unloading/scanning /sorting inbound foliage plants
  • Maintain appearance and cleanliness of the warehouse
  • Learn other departments in our organization through cross-training and labor sharing!

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Ability to work holidays and overtime as business needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $17.50/hr – $18.50/hr

Physical Requirements:

  • Walking
  • Standing
  • Stooping
  • Pulling
  • Detail oriented while still maintaining excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and in team environment
  • Ability to perform various physical tasks (i.e. bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.) and ability to work in hot and cold environments. Work will be performed in a Greenhouse (85 degrees) or warehouse (40–50-degree room).
  • Past experience is a plus.

Skills and Experience Preferred:

  • Experience working in a warehouse
  • Be able to stand for 8 hours or more a day
  • Bilingual Preferred (English & Spanish
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
