Overview

Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center is the largest hospital in Missouri and is ranked as one of the nation's top hospitals by U.S. News & World Report. Barnes-Jewish Hospital's staff is composed of full-time academic faculty and community physicians of Washington University School of Medicine, supported by a house staff of residents, interns, fellows and other medical professionals. Recognizing its excellence in nursing care, Barnes-Jewish Hospital was the first adult hospital in Missouri to be certified as a Magnet Hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

The Plaza Shop is located in the main lobby of Barnes-Jewish Hospital south. The Plaza Shop is available to patients and visitors to purchase items such as parking passes, snacks, cards, candy, stamps, specialty gifts, personal items, books, magazines,

Assists with a variety of functions in the retail shop such as cashiering, selling, assisting customers, light cleaning, processing plants, stock work and other duties as required.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot obstacles, provides team member training and coordinates/prioritizes daily work assignments and priorities to best meet the floral departments needs.
  • Oversees all floral deliveries in-house & external.
  • Purchases all plants, flowers, balloons and floral supplies
  • Monitors the webstore and on-line orders
  • Keeps leadership informed on market trends including, setting prices
  • Minimum Requirements
