Job description

Description:
We are currently looking for a floor assistant at Tatsu-Ya full service locations! Must be able to move quickly and work efficiently with attention to detail.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Deliver food orders to customers quickly and accurately
  • Uphold sanitation and food safety principles
  • Bus tables by removing dirty dishes and trash
  • Occasionally check in with guests as needed to support service
  • Relay reports of customer satisfaction to the management and relevant parties
  • Ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food
  • Assist setting up tables before service with appropriate utensils, napkins and decorations

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • High degree of organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent ability to multitask
  • Ability to remain professional in a stressful work environment

Education and Experience:
  • Prior experience working in a restaurant environment preferred
  • Prior experience working in customer service
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Available to work different hours including weekends, days, and nights.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to carry at least 40lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
