Job description

Recognized as the global leader in aircraft and component remanufacturing, Flexjet Technical Services (EMS) has redefined the business aviation industry by using reimagined engineering and production capabilities to transform used business aircraft into new modern airframes.

This position is located in Cleveland, OH.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and terminate wiring harnesses to a high quality for aircraft installation.
  • Perform a variety of aviation electrical and fabrication processes to include but not limited to wire marking, soldering, crimping, connector termination and assembly.
  • Perform electrical wiring modifications to equipment.
  • Inspect and/test wiring installations, assemblies or circuits.
  • Perform kitting fabrication/ operations as designed.
  • Ensure work meets quality standards set by the organization.
  • Complete all required paperwork and computer documentation for harness and component fabrication.
  • Perform other related duties & responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 highly desired
  • Understanding of avionics and electrical wiring diagrams and circuits is preferred.
  • Knowledge of various wire harness tools to include manual and crimpers is preferred.
  • Prior experience in electrical harness fabrication is a plus.
  • Prior aviation electrical experience is a plus.
  • Fanatical attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experienced with all MS Office suites.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
