Job description

Reports to FLC Digital Marketing Manager The Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer (FLC) is the formally chartered, nationwide network of over 300 federal laboratories, agencies, and research centers, that fosters commercialization, best practice strategies, and opportunities, for accelerating federal technologies out of the labs and into the marketplace. This is a remote position. FLC Mission To support federal laboratories in maximizing the impact of technology transfer for the benefit of the United States.

Position Overview Assist with the production of video for FLC from ideation to completion. Brainstorm new video ideas in both short and long form. Script, edit, and export videos while working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to help promote the work of federal labs.

Support the Digital Marketing Manager and Promote team as needed. Qualifications Familiarity with the video production process. Experience communicating a message or telling a story via written, audio, or visual means.

Be a self-starter who can take direction, ask questions, and pitch ideas. Proficiency with video editing software preferred. Ability to work as a team as well as independently.
