Job description

Our Employee-Owned company has immediate full-time openings for a Plumber in the Southeast. This position will work within Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare, and Federal businesses and be part of an amazing and GROWING team! All positions are regular, full-time and benefits eligible. Pay range depending on experience, skills, and knowledge.
Job Duties:
  • Plumbers install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, or other public buildings.
  • Must be proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste drainage systems.
  • Must also install and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment, and controls while working in cooperation with other trades and laborers to ensure that all specifications, codes, laws and policies are met.
  • The plumber will ensure efficient completion of any and all projects within their scope of work in accordance with standards of building codes and safety.
  • Conduct business in accordance with PPC and MetroPower, Inc. mission and vision statements.

Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License
  • Must have 3 years' experience as a plumber
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented
  • Be familiar with interpreting plumbing blueprints
  • Identify and eliminate hazardous conditions at the job site
