General Job Description
Position Summary
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Plumbing Estimator to join our growing team in Cincinnati. This role is responsible for evaluating bid specifications and analyzing blueprints, proposals, and related documentation to successfully bid plumbing service projects. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple deadlines with precision and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect project plans and specifications
  • Evaluate bid documents, blueprints, and related materials
  • Prepare transmittals and distribute plans/specifications during the bid process
  • Perform detailed quantity take-offs and complete project scope reviews
  • Develop master budgets and cost models for assigned projects
  • Provide accurate project estimates and cost summaries
  • Communicate with employers, suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to review estimates and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain organized documentation and ensure accuracy of all estimate records
