Salary:

Estimator Assistant

We are seeking a detailoriented and motivated Estimator Assistant to support our estimating team in preparing accurate and competitive project cost estimates. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, analytical, and interested in the construction or electrical contracting field. You will work directly under the guidance of senior estimators and project managers, helping ensure our bids are precise, timely, and welldocumented.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing project drawings, specifications, and bid documents to support estimate preparation.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and enter data into estimating software and project templates.
  • Gather pricing for materials, labor, and subcontractors to support estimate accuracy.
  • Organize and maintain estimate files, documentation, reports, and revisions.
  • Participate in project meetings to understand scope, schedule, and technical requirements.
  • Prepare supporting administrative documents such as permit lists, cost summaries, and bid packages.
  • Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and internal project teams as needed.


Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • High School diploma
  • 02 years of experience in estimating, construction administration, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical abilities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required).
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Customerservice mindset when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Problemsolving mindset and willingness to learn from senior estimators.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with estimating software such as Accubid.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Electrical field background
