Job Summary:

We are currently looking for an Entry-Level Estimator to join our team and support the estimation and project management process for our clients. This role provides an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the construction industry and develop valuable skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior estimators in analyzing project plans, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate material takeoff estimates for construction projects.
  • Engage with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to gather pricing, material availability, and project details. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and ensuring smooth communication.
  • Utilize CRM software to track job bids, estimates, and takeoffs, ensuring that records remain up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs manually and using digital takeoff software to determine material requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members across various departments to achieve shared goals and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide administrative support to the estimating team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and assisting with proposal submissions.
  • Work closely with outside sales staff to support customer takeoffs and requests, ensuring timely and accurate information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree/certification in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Skilled in material takeoffs (manual and digital), interpreting construction drawings/specs, and using estimating software and CRM tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); highly organized with strong attention to detail for tracking bids and estimates
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams, vendors, and clients; excellent written and verbal abilities
  • Effective multitasker with solid problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
