What is a fixed operations specialist?

A Fixed Operations Specialist is a professional who oversees the service, parts, and sometimes body shop departments within an automotive dealership. Their primary role is to ensure these departments are operating efficiently and profitably by managing workflow, customer satisfaction, and parts inventory. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills set top performers apart in this role. These skills ensure efficient service department operations, high customer satisfaction, and optimized profitability for automotive businesses.
