Job Summary

The Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Specialist is responsible for the development, maintenance, and management of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in support of ILS2 Task Order execution. This role provides comprehensive scheduling and timeline management support by integrating activities across logistics, planning, sustainment, contingency operations, and other program functions into a unified scheduling framework.

The IMS Specialist works closely with program leadership, functional teams, project personnel, and program controls staff to ensure all program activities are accurately represented, synchronized, and aligned with mission objectives. Through schedule analysis, risk identification, and performance monitoring, this position contributes to mission success by providing visibility into program execution and enabling proactive decision-making. This role performs scheduling and integration functions and does not provide program-level authority, operational execution, or financial management.

This position is contingent upon award of the contract.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and control the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to support effective program execution.
  • Collect, integrate, and update schedule data from functional teams across logistics, planning, sustainment, contingency operations, and other program activities.
  • Identify schedule dependencies, critical paths, milestones, and risks to support proactive schedule management.
  • Monitor schedule performance and track progress against established program timelines and objectives.
  • Provide timely schedule updates, analyses, reports, and status information to program leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support transition planning efforts by integrating startup, execution, transition, and turnover activities into the IMS.
  • Coordinate with project controls, financial, and operational personnel to align schedule data with performance metrics and program requirements.
  • Assist in identifying schedule impacts, resource conflicts, and potential delays and recommend corrective actions when appropriate.
  • Maintain schedule documentation and ensure schedule data is accurate, current, and auditable.

Basic Qualifications

  • Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 4+ years of experience.
  • Secret clearance
  • Experience developing and maintaining integrated project schedules within a complex program or operational environment.
  • Knowledge of project scheduling principles, critical path methodologies, schedule analysis techniques, and lifecycle planning.
  • Experience using scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar scheduling tools.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams to collect, validate, and maintain schedule data.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting DoD, USINDOPACOM, logistics, sustainment, contingency, or operational support programs.
  • Knowledge of Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and project controls best practices.
  • Experience supporting transition planning, program mobilization, or large-scale operational efforts.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM), performance measurement, and project reporting processes.
  • Experience integrating schedules across multiple projects, workstreams, or geographically dispersed teams.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP), or similar project management/scheduling certification.

Target Salary

For Hawaii Applicants: The expected salary range for this position in Hawaii is $96,000 - $144,300 (update as required). Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, work location, and other job-related factors. This range is provided in accordance with Hawaii pay transparency requirements and applies to candidates working in Hawaii.
