Position: Business & Sales Operations Domain Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $60–$100/hour
Location: Hybrid, Bay Area, California
Commitment: 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the quality of business and sales operations knowledge work tasks and model outputs. Identify missing behaviors, thin reasoning, and flawed assumptions.
  • Write high-quality instruction specs and produce golden solutions to operations problems. Define tasks that reflect real-world practices.
  • Design challenging operations tasks and evaluation sets. Collaborate with the research team to build domain-specific skills and tools.
  • Work with client researchers and specialists to maintain consistent standards. Translate tacit operating judgment into explicit, teachable criteria.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 4+ years of substantive ownership of a business, revenue, or sales operations function.
  • Progression to a senior level such as Manager, Senior Manager, Director, Vice President, COO, or President.
  • Specialization in areas like sales operations, revenue operations, CRM systems, or business analytics.
  • Bachelor's degree; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Hands-on use of large language models and ability to discern well-reasoned answers.
  • Commitment to 40 hours/week for an initial 6-month engagement.
  • Reside in the Bay Area, California, and work on-site as required.
