Our parts department plays a critical role in supporting both service operations and customer satisfaction, and we are seeking a motivated Parts Counterperson to join our team.

About the Position

The Parts Counterperson is responsible for assisting technicians, service advisors, and customers with parts requests while maintaining accurate inventory control and efficient department operations. This role helps support daily fixed operations by ensuring parts are distributed accurately, promptly, and professionally.

The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist technicians, service advisors, and customers with parts identification and ordering

Process parts transactions accurately and efficiently

Maintain organized inventory and stock levels

Receive, stock, and label incoming parts shipments

Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding parts availability and orders

Maintain accurate records within dealership management systems

Support department organization and cleanliness standards

Assist with inventory counts and inventory control processes

Deliver excellent customer service during all interactions

Qualifications

Previous automotive parts or dealership experience preferred

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Basic computer and inventory system proficiency
