Job description

Fitch Group is currently seeking a Senior AV / Unified Communications Engineer to join our NYC-based team, supporting and evolving a global enterprise collaboration environment.
This role is ideal for someone with deep Cisco video conferencing expertise who also brings hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, and Zoom Voice. You'll play a key role in delivering consistent, high-quality meeting experience across conference rooms, hybrid environments, and global operations.
What You'll Do
Own and Engineer Collaboration Platforms
  • Lead the design, configuration, and lifecycle management of AV/UC platforms
  • Define standards for meeting rooms, devices, and user experience
  • Partner with IT, networking, and facilities teams on deployments and upgrades

Cisco Video Conferencing (Core Focus)
  • Manage Cisco Conferencing Endpoints and collaboration infrastructure
  • Ensure performance, stability, and security across VC environments
  • Troubleshoot audio/video issues and drive root cause resolution

Multi-Platform Collaboration (Teams, Zoom, Webex)
  • Support interoperability across Cisco, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Webex
  • Configure and maintain meeting room experiences across platforms
  • Ensure seamless meeting join and collaboration workflows

Zoom Voice (Zoom Phone)
  • Support Zoom Voice administration (users, call flows, auto attendants)
  • Assist with troubleshooting call quality and routing issues
  • Work with network and telephony teams on voice optimization

Optimize Performance & User Experience
  • Monitor system health, room uptime, and meeting quality
  • Identify trends and proactively improve reliability
  • Support reporting and analytics for platform performance
  • Meetings and events support for C level

What You Bring
Required
  • 7+ years of experience in AV / UC engineering in enterprise environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Cisco video conferencing (required)
    • Microsoft Teams / Teams Rooms
    • Zoom (Meetings, Rooms, and Zoom Voice)
    • Cisco Webex
  • Experience troubleshooting real-time audio/video and conferencing issues
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (QoS, IP networking, firewalls, DNS)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have
  • Experience with Cisco Control Hub, Zoom Admin, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with Teams Rooms management platforms
  • Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python)
  • AV certifications (Cisco Collaboration, CTS, Microsoft Teams, Zoom)

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $140,000 and $150,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
