Position Overview
As a Utility Setup Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless transitions for our clients' residential properties. You will act as the primary liaison with utility providers-coordinating account start and stop dates, resolving property issues, and ensuring services are fully activated so homes are ready for repairs or new tenants.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Utility Activations: Manage utility requests end-to-end via phone, email, web portals, and fax to schedule start/stop dates and confirm account details.
  • High-Volume Communication: Place outbound calls to utility providers (spending ~90% of your day engaging with providers) to research and resolve incomplete requests, property liens, balance inquiries, and inspection needs.
  • Problem Resolution & Payment Management: Swiftly navigate obstacles, resolve urgent account issues, and utilize authorization to issue payments and settle account balances.
  • Multi-Tasking Excellence: Efficiently manage high workflows and handle multiple utility requests across complex software systems-even while on hold.
  • Client & Partner Engagement: Maintain direct, professional correspondence with brokers and provide clear, accurate updates to clients via Conservice software notes and messaging.
  • Master Complex Workflows: Quickly adapt to unique client methodologies by navigating multiple databases, programs, and client documents simultaneously.
