Job description

PAYMENT PROCESSORDepartment: Accounting

Location: In-Office Logan, UT

Shift: 8 am - 5 pm

Wage: $17.35/hour

Overview

Processors on the payments team are responsible for accepting and processing various types of payments for Conservice-collect properties on a resident level as well as a client level. Processors also ensure that payment issues are resolved quickly and efficiently. Multiple teams help in calculating and sending bills to residents and invoices to clients, and the Payments team is there to accept payments for those bills and ensure they are applied correctly.

Responsibilities

  • Process various kinds of payments, including physical checks, E-box, Moneygram, Lockbox, credit card, EFT payments for resident and client payments.
  • Send payments to the bank and apply payments to residents'/clients' ledgers.
  • Reconcile payment batches for accuracy.
  • Prepare and mail out returned payments to residents/clients
  • Sort physical mail and deliver to the corresponding teams.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and 10-Key
  • High attention to detail

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • HS diploma or equivalent
