Job Summary: The Server at the Fish Market - Downtown is primarily responsible for delivering hospitality and extraordinary service to guests dining in the restaurant. This position is also responsible for cleanliness and safety of the dining and employee areas of the property.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Anticipate guests' needs and exceed guest service expectations.
  • Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
  • Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu, with the ability to answer questions and make suggestions.
  • Take orders, serve dining guests, and process payment.
  • Keep designated service stations clean and organized.
  • Respond urgently and appropriately to guests' needs.
  • Exhibit a professional appearance and mannerisms.
  • Ensure guests are enjoying their experience and take action to correct any problems.
  • Concludes the guest experience by acknowledging choice of establishment and inviting patrons to return.
  • Complete assigned sidework at the beginning, during, and at end of shift.

  • Minimum 2 years serving experience in a full-service restaurant (liquor, beer, & wine).

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire bar area and service wells.
