First National Bank of Oklahoma is an independently owned, strong, and growing bank seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager. As ourPortfolio Manager, you will be familiar with the relationships/borrowers in their loan portfolio, proactively managing the assigned portfolio to ensure adherence to credit policy, including, completing various required actions, such as: Perform preliminary financial analysis, address industry risks, collateral requirements, loan structuring and pricing.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Focus daily activities on ensuring information and credit files of all assigned borrowers are current and there is active communication with borrowers.
  • Maintain follow up with existing clients to ensure that the bank has timely and accurate financial information for purposes of loan monitoring and updating loan files.
  • Responsible for full cycle of loan request process; From conducting preliminary evaluation, to entering and maintaining client information in commercial database, to providing full financial and market analysis and preparing a recommended term sheet.
  • Primary liaison with internal and external stakeholders to include various Bank departments, customers, attorneys, and commercial lenders/leadership.
  • Collaborate with lenders to identify areas of concerns pertaining to a loan and in the management of maturing loans.
  • Monitor loan documentation and financial statement exception reports and follow-up to clear up document exceptions in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience working in Financial Services required; Exposure to Commercial Banking highly desired.
  • Prior working experience with loan underwriting and credit training is required.
  • Understanding of basic loan structure processes and regulations associated with lending.
  • Working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office Suite PC desktop operating systems with previous exposure to FIS Horizon XE is highly beneficial.
