Universal Banker - Floater (Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan)
Excellent opportunity to "Go First. Go Far." as a member of First National Bank LI's branch management team. We are seeking an experienced banking professional to support our Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan branch network.
Universal Banker is a member of the branch management team who performs both Platform and Teller responsibilities.
The ability to travel to various branches within the region
  • Supports branch management with business development initiatives, branch operations and regulatory compliance
  • Identifies opportunities to sell Bank products and services to new and existing customers
  • Assists Manager with branch operations, end of day functions, prepares daily/weekly/monthly reports
  • Makes sound decisions regarding procedural questions, interprets bank policies pertaining to transactions
  • Possesses current knowledge of products and services. Opens, closes, sells and services bank deposit consumer loan products
  • Makes overdraft decisions
  • Provides exceptional customer service by engaging clients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Performs Teller duties when needed

Requirements
College degree or equivalent combination of experience and education or minimum 3+ years related retail banking experience including teller experience in a bank preferred
In-depth knowledge of bank products and services
Working knowledge of banking regulations, compliance, and audit requirements
Strong Customer Service Skills
Self-motivated and ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills
Possesses a strong work ethic, positive attitude and computer skills.
Salary Range: $31,200. - $55,000.
