Scope of Position

The Fingerprint Technician will serve as a shared team member for multiple divisions within the company, with the primary responsibility of capturing fingerprints for incoming applicants. This position will also assist the department with daily functions by providing exceptional administrative support and excellent customer service.

Essential Job Duties

  • Assisting applicants via email/telephone/in person
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Processing payments
  • QC Applicant's Papwerwork
  • Fingerprinting applicants (does not require prior knowledge)
  • Must be trained to fingerprint and must pass the fingerprint training course provided by the State of Maryland. Traveling to our AACPS office, PGCPS office and off-site locations to perform fingerprinting services.
  • Completing daily administrative functions in Microsoft Office to close out daily fingerprint tasks
  • Assisting other areas of the office with administratie functions

Record Improvement Support cross training responsibilities.

Education & Qualification Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Required.
  • Must pass a thorough background check to include fingerprinting
  • Required to pass a certified fingerprint technician course through the State of Maryland.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
  • Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
  • Bilingual- Spanish is a plus but not required
  • Notary is a plus but not requiried
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • High level of customer services, regularly interacts with customers
  • Proficiency with general computer/system navigation
