Come join Intuit as a Compliance Manager for Licensing and Exam Management!


Intuit is seeking an experienced Licensing and Examinations Manager to join its Compliance Licensed Offerings team. You will support the licensing, reporting, and examinations for several of our Credit Karma subsidiaries, as well as the entity governance activities related to those subsidiaries. This role will report to the Head of Entity Governance, Licensing and Exam Management on the Compliance team.

We are looking for a professional, poised, and proactive Compliance member to provide strong support for the Credit Karma licensing and examination program. The ideal candidate will have experience with managing Company and individual licenses, including compiling applications; submitting renewals; compiling and submitting regulatory reports; scheduling and running meetings; preparing board materials and Resolutions; and interacting directly with agencies and examiners.

Responsibilities

Licensing - file licensing documents such as applications, renewals, and required reporting

  • Solve actions items related to licenses, facilitate payment of necessary licensing fees; and organize and maintain licensing documentation
  • Coordinate with internal teams to provide required documentation for license renewals, reporting, examinations, or third party partner requests
  • Interact with regulators, including asking and answering regulatory inquiries
  • Manage entity filings, including those relating to DBAs
  • Manage Director/Officer changes, including scheduling fingerprinting/notary appointments, and attestations
  • Monitor the relevant regulatory landscape for changes relating to licenses and licensed activity


Exam Management - manage regulatory examinations

  • Lead examinations related to licensed activity, including preparation and delivery of responses
  • Compile requested documentation from internal stakeholders and escalate requests as necessary to meet deadlines
  • Review documents prior to delivery to regulators to ensure proper formatting and content
  • Organize and manage examination documentation and schedule all required meetings
  • Update internal examination system and track issues
  • Work cross-functionally across compliance and the business to drive change based on examination findings and recommendations
  • Help drive the mindset that Compliance is a strategic advantage, enabling growth and customer delight.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5+ years professional experience required
  • 3+ years of experience in licensing and/or an in-house legal, risk, or compliance department required
  • 3+ years of experience with Company-level licensing preferred
  • Experience with licenses such as Loan Brokering, Mortgage Brokering, Insurance Brokering, or Money Movement helpful.
  • Experience with scheduling and leading meetings required
  • Experience with state and/or federal regulatory examinations and interaction with regulators
  • Proven success working with cross-functional teams
  • Desire to thrive in a fast-paced and multifaceted business
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, interpersonal and writing skills are a must

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is: 

Bay Area California $ 175,000- 236,500

Southern California $ 156,500- 211,500
