Job description

Summary 

The Implementation Consultant supports the Professional Services team in delivering Encompass solutions aligned with customer goals. They collaborate with customer success, establish trust, and enhance product knowledge and onboarding methods. Key duties include configuring solutions, providing basic project management, coordinating activities, and resolving issues within Encompass. A successful consultant can configure solutions independently, specialize in specific solutions, implement add-ons, and effectively communicate with the services team.

Responsibilities 
  • Work as part of a project team to implement Encompass products aligned to our customers' desired workflow (jobs to be done).
  • Working from a high level design, lead customers through decisions which will inform system configuration. 
  • Understand and communicate the value of platform capabilities in the context of our customers' needs.
  • Be a product and industry subject matter expert who can direct customers to analytics and reports to demonstrate business outcomes.
  • Gather customer information to help troubleshoot implementation related issues as they arise. This might require conducting additional research to identify root causes and coordinate a plan to resolve or mitigate the issue.
  • Use documentation and reference materials to enhance customer success, align with internal implementation configurations, and provide feedback for improving documentation.
  • Collaborates with internal teams (data migration, EDI, integration, etc.) to ensure projects meet deadlines, tests product fixes and new features
  • Accomplish your assigned work within project parameters (deadlines, budgeted time and scope)
  • Record time accurately and achieve billable utilization targets
Qualifications 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3+ years experience leading implementations for ERP, warehouse management, account/financial, and/or beverage production software solutions and delivery methods.
  • Utilize outstanding communication and presentation skills to contribute to projects while managing multiple priorities and activities to completion.
  • Use basic tools including MS Office, Visio, Google Suite, etc.
  • Logical mindset and ability to follow structured delivery approaches, processes, and solution logic.
  • Previous experience in the beverage distribution or production industry preferred
Travel

This position requires periodic overnight travel to customer sites, prospect locations, and to international offices. Additional travel includes attendance of company meetings and trade shows. This role may travel up to 50% of the time.

Additional Details

This role will receive a competitive salary + bonus + benefits. The salary for US-based employees located in the below markets may expect offers in the ranges for this role.

US annual base:  $65,000 - $80,000 annually

A variety of factors are considered when determining someone's compensation, including a candidate's professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above based on these considerations.
