  1. Analyse et Rapports financiers
  • Participer a la preparation et consolidation des etats financiers mensuels, trimestriels et annuels et selon les normes en vigueur.
  • Analyser les ecarts entre les previsions et les resultats reels.
  • Developper et fournir divers rapports financiers a la direction.
  1. Tresorerie et couverture
  • Planification des besoins en couverture de tresorerie et devise.

Exigences du poste

  • Detenir un baccalaureat en comptabilite ou en finances
  • Detenir un titre comptable CPA.
  • Posseder plus de 10 ans d'experience en controle financier ou en comptabilite
  • Posseder une experience a titre de gestionnaire.
  • Connaissance des normes americaines US GAAP un atout.
  • Bilingue Francais/Anglais.
  • Maitrise des outils informatiques (Excel, Power BI, SAP).
  • Excellentes competences analytiques et souci du detail.
  • Capacite a travailler en equipe et a communiquer efficacement.

We are seeking a candidate for the position of Assistant Financial Controller. This role offers a unique opportunity to play a key part in the company's financial management. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in financial and operational accounting, excellent analytical skills, and strong leadership to guide a team.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Director and Controller, the main responsibilities include:

  1. Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Participate in the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.
    • Analyze variances between forecasts and actual results.
    • Develop and deliver financial reports to management.
  2. Treasury and Hedging
    • Plan cash flow and currency hedging requirements.
    • Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  3. Internal Control and Period-End Processes
    • Plan and coordinate SOX activities and contribute to the development of the annual control plan.
    • Act as the primary contact for external auditors.
    • Drive continuous improvement of internal procedures.
    • Perform internal audit assignments as requested.
    • Prepare and analyze segregation of duties and system access.
    • Coordinate control activities with our site in Mexico.
    • Approve and review account analysis.
    • Oversee governance processes.
    • Coordinate period-end closing activities.
  4. Team Management and Collaboration
    • Manage a team of financial analysts.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy of financial data.
    • Mentor and guide junior staff or interns.
  5. Other Related Tasks
    • Recommend improvements to internal controls and governance.
    • Review accounting policies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • CPA designation required.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial control or accounting.
  • Previous managerial experience.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP standards (asset).
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SAP.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Demonstrate leadership and organization skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable and able to manage priorities effectively.
