A leading commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial construction projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion.
- Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and execution.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams.
- Monitor project costs, forecasts, change orders, and financial performance.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and contract documents.
- Conduct project meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
- Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a commercial general contractor.
- Experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects valued at $30M+.
- Background in one or more of the following project types:
- Office Buildings
- Healthcare
- Higher Education
- Mixed-Use
- Life Sciences
- Hospitality
- Corporate Campuses
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and project controls.
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
