Job description

Motive Workforce is seeking a Project Coordinator to support a growing Energy Execution team managing utility-scale renewable energy projects across the United States.

This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting construction, EPC, infrastructure, or renewable energy projects who enjoys keeping projects organized and moving forward. You'll work alongside Project Managers and cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle, from project kickoff through closeout.
Responsibilities
  • Support multiple Project Managers across active construction projects.
  • Coordinate project documentation, contracts, permits, work orders, and change orders.
  • Prepare and track purchase orders and assist with invoice processing and reconciliation.
  • Maintain project schedules, milestone trackers, and project records.
  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes and action items.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Legal, Asset Management, and external project partners.
  • Organize project documentation and support project closeout activities.
  • Monitor deliverables and proactively follow up to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, or Project Controls Coordinator.
  • Experience supporting construction, EPC, infrastructure, commercial development, utilities, or renewable energy projects.
  • Working knowledge of purchase orders, invoices, contracts, change orders, and document control.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Salesforce, SiteTracker, Procore, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar systems is a plus.
Preferred
  • Renewable energy or utility-scale construction experience.
  • Experience supporting multiple Project Managers simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft or similar platforms.
