Description

 The Window Tint Helper / Trainee is an entry-level position responsible for assisting technicians while developing the skills needed to become a professional Window Tint Technician. This role combines hands-on support with structured learning, focusing on proper installation techniques, shop efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist technicians with vehicle preparation, including cleaning and prepping windows for tint installation 
  • Support installation by handling film, tools, and materials as directed 
  • Learn and practice window tint techniques such as cutting, shrinking, and applying film 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, tools, and work areas 
  • Safely move and position vehicles when required 
  • Observe and assist in quality control checks on completed work 
  • Follow all company procedures, safety guidelines, and production standards 
  • Contribute to meeting daily workflow and efficiency goals 
  • Provide professional and courteous customer interaction when needed


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • No experience required; willingness to learn and grow is essential 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions 
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment 
  • Valid driver's license preferred 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods 
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs 
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity 

Work Environment:

  • Indoor automotive shop setting 
  • Exposure to heat, cleaning chemicals, and automotive tools

Training & Advancement:
This position is designed as a pathway to becoming a Window Tint Technician. Employees will receive hands-on training and are expected to progressively develop installation skills. Advancement is based on performance, consistency, and the ability to meet quality and production expectations.
