Position: Paint Protection Film Installer Trainee

Position Overview:

As a Paint Protection Film (PPF) Installer Trainee, you will learn the skills needed to become a professional installer. You'll work closely with experienced technicians who will train you step-by-step in PPF installation, vehicle preparation, shop processes, and our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities (Training Provided):

  • Assist with picking up paint protection kits from the AE Production Center and verifying accuracy
  • Learn proper vehicle prep including washing, clay barring, and panel cleaning
  • Support senior installers and observe PPF installation (XPEL) techniques
  • Gradually practice installing film under supervision
  • Help conduct basic quality checks to ensure high standards
  • Learn how to communicate job status with customers and through AE office/software systems
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in automotive work and learning PPF installation
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation to travel between job locations
  • Ability to maintain a professional, positive attitude with customers and team members
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Comfortable driving high-end vehicles (training provided)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take direction
  • Detailing experience is a plus
