About the Role:

The Senior Field Representative plays a vital role in managing the site implementation of construction projects within Disney Experiences. This position ensures that construction activities align with client requirements, functionality, and standards while adhering to safety, environmental, and code regulations. As a key liaison between project managers, contractors, and governmental agencies, you will lead worksite construction activities and contribute to the successful execution of project management plans. This role requires flexibility to work the third shift and offers the opportunity to mentor and develop team members.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Field Representative, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects and ensuring compliance with Disney standards and safety regulations. Your expertise in construction management and ability to work independently will be essential for success in this role.

  • Collaborate with the project team and Walt Disney World Safety to implement project safety plans.
  • Participate in project development by providing constructability analysis and value engineering recommendations.
  • Ensure contractor and manufacturer compliance with contract drawings, schedules, specifications, applicable codes, and Disney standards.
  • Develop site logistics and conduct regular site walks and inspections.
  • Monitor project schedules and identify recovery options to prevent delays.
  • Anticipate risks and advance issues for resolution.
  • Prepare daily reports on contractor work activities, tracking personnel, equipLead and participate in meetings, including pre-construction, weekly team, safety, operations, contractor, and regulatory discussions.
  • Mentor interns and Field Representatives, identifying strengths and developmental needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in construction project management and site implementation.
  • Knowledge of construction industry activities, project management processes, and contracting.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and general requirements.
  • Experience working on complex construction sites and with contractors, sub-contractors, and consultants.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify issues impacting construction processes.
  • Flexibility to work the third shift.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction or construction project management.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • More than 4 years of proven experience in the commercial facilities construction industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction or a related field.

The hiring range for this position in Florida is $91,000.00-$121,900.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
