What is a Field Application Engineer?

A Field Application Engineer (FAE) is a technical professional who works closely with customers to provide support, product demonstrations, and technical expertise on complex products, typically in industries like electronics, semiconductors, or software. They often travel to customer sites to offer hands-on assistance and gather feedback, which they relay back to their internal teams. The role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
