Our sports and leisure complex boasts impressive state-of-the-art aquatic facilities enjoyed by individuals of all ages, as well as tennis, paddle sports, fitness options, and The Cove, a mini club designed for children. Our elegant manor-style clubhouse features both casual and fine dining options, along with the finest banquet facilities in the area for galas, weddings, and social gatherings. We are looking for Bartenders to join the Fiddler’s Family and share their passion for hospitality with our members, guests, and fellow staff members. Fiddler’s Elbow hosts a wide range of events from comedy shows and concerts to Fourth of July celebrations and New Year’s Eve festivities, our annual FiddleFest Music and Food Festival, Member White-Out Party, golf outings and sporting events. We also host smaller clubs within the Club, such as our beloved Book Club and Cigar Club. Our members host many private events like weddings, social events, and celebrations of life milestones. 

Our Bartenders will provide timely, accurate and friendly bar service to our members and guests. This is a fast-paced position that involves constant interaction with patrons. The Bartender will maintain a warm, friendly environment creating a world class dining experience.  Our Bartenders could work Banquet events, Fine Dining and the Pool Cabana.


Essential Functions: 

  • Interact with members, guests, and fellow employees in a respectful and professional manner. 
  • Accurately describe and answer questions regarding the menu items, specials, drinks, etc.
  • Assess the patrons’ needs and preferences and make recommendations. 
  • Take orders and accurately enter in the “Point of Sale” system for transmittal to kitchen staff.  
  • Check patrons’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
  • Graciously prepare drinks for servers to serve to patrons.  
  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcoholic beverages for patrons using measuring methods and tools provided. 
  • Mix, garnish, and serve beverages according to club standards.
  • Gracefully present, open, and serve bottles of wine in a professional manner.
  • Communicate any issues with food service to the managers in a timely manner.  
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory, supplies, fruit/garnishes, etc. 
  • Change beer kegs and handles.
  • Keep areas clean and organized, including bar, soda room, liquor cage, receiving dock, and walk-in fridge.
  • Clean and sanitize ice wells in accordance with the mandated cleaning schedule.    
  • Assist in accurately conducting inventories and maintaining the correct number of supplies. 
  • Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to manager. 
  • Set up and break down of events, which may include moving bars, alcohol, and glasses, carrying trays, arranging, and cleaning the bar areas. 
  • Polish and restock glasses for the next shift. 
  • Work effectively with fellow employees and other departments to support and maintain a level of excellence in food and beverage service for members and guests.    
  • Assist in opening and closing duties for each shift and occasionally re-arrange dining set-ups (buffets, displays, etc.)
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations and Fiddlers Elbow policies
  • Comply with all food and beverage procedures for handling and storing in a safe and sanitary manner.  
  • Abide by New Jersey and township laws regarding serving of minors and visibly intoxicated patrons.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Required Education/Experience:

Required Qualifications: 

  • TIPS certified preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
