Job description

As a Fermentation Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for prepping equipment and monitoring the process for HA manufacturing. During the course of your shift you will perform the following:

  • Using current Good Manufacturing Practices, operate all stages of the fermentation process including media prep, fermentation, harvesting, ultrafiltration, precipitation, and powder drying
  • Demonstrate the ability to recognize and avoid process deviations, and in-process variation.
  • Learn pertinent or relevant Standard Operating Procedures and demonstrate proficiency through the routine performance of procedures
  • Participate in product line team meetings to develop group approach to planning and problem solving
  • Qualify to gown for cleanroom entrance

To qualify as a Fermentation Manufacturing Technician, you'll need the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous manufacturing experience, preferably in a regulated industry
  • Medical Device or Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience with cleanroom experience a strong plus!
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes at all times
  • Willingness to be flexible with a work schedule that may require overtime
  • Strong mechanical ability with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and processing problems

Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 2:00pm - 12:30am
Starting Pay: $25.00/hour + $1.25/hour 2nd shift premium
