Job description

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Operations to lead and scale the operational success of Superior Fence & Rail's corporate operations. The Sr Director of Operations oversees the day-to-day operations and long-term success of Superior Fence & Rail North Florida and Central Florida locations. The Director is responsible for managing the fabrication, production, and installation teams, and implementing strategic processes and systems that drive company growth across both the residential and commercial spaces. 
Key Responsibilities:  

  • Assist in strategic planning and vision to the organization, as well as align company objectives with Empower Brands' overall strategic goals.  
  • Help drive the growth of the businesses and ensure appropriate talent, metrics, and strategy are in place to support that growth.  
  • Monitoring financial activities as well as ensuring EBITDA goals are met on a monthly and annual basis.  
  • Partner closely with Brand President and Director of Franchise Operations to ensure alignment between corporate operations and franchise operations.
  • Support new franchisee training during franchisee visits. 
  • Work closely with the Marketing department to create and implement new marketing and lead generation initiatives driving increased lead flow and revenue growth. 
  • Oversee departmental leaders to ensure company goals and objectives are being met.    
  • Have a strong knowledge of the franchising and construction industries to ensure the business model is best suited and evolves as needed.  
  • Continually confirm the brand is adhering to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain Superior Fence & Rail's legal and business ethics.    
  • Foster a culture that promotes high ethical standards and respect of all internal and external customers.  

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or a related field
  • 5+ years of direct leadership experience in franchising, construction, or home services industries. Fencing industry experience a major plus.
  • Proven track record in achieving results and driving business growth.
  • Proven leadership experience with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and achieve key objectives.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills. 
  • Exceptional business acumen, presentation skills, and the ability to command a room.
